As much as I wish my halfmoon could have perfect, flowing fins, he's not prone to agreeing with me-- he 'pruned' off half his tail (while in an unfiltered tank with plenty of hiding spots and no excessive room traffic? I'M NOT SURE EITHER), and since then his stress level and aggressiveness have gone way down. Whatever works for them, I guess!

his tail may be "heavy"... Crayola's tail grew almost double his body length before he had enough and couldn't swim right he trims his tail always now, keeping it at a decent length. He lives with my friend :3
