I have recently bought a gorgeous male named Mosey, he started in a betta bowl, with a plant on top, i changed him to a bowl to give him more space, he makes little bubbles and they accumulate at the top of bowl Is this normal? Thanks from deena and Mosey.

Sounds like your Mosey is preparing a bubble nest in atticipation of a lady friend!!

But mind you it does not mean that he needs a lady friend. It's just him telling you that he is happy and healthly. Congrats!

i just got a betta fish today. i'm trying to study about the beautiful fish, but it isn't working out to well. i was wondering, how long could a betta fish live without food? I'm asking this because the fish is at my office, so i won't be able to feed it on the weekends.

Bettas can often live 2-4 days without food. They do, however, need very warm water at a constant temperature (heater wil take care of this; 78 degrees is good), and a hiding spot.
