What kind of snails do you have? I have an apple snail, aka mystery snail, and feed him cooked broccoli, zucchini, green beans, carrots, yellow squash (cooked enough to sink to the bottom of the tank). The squash and broccoli are by far the favs. I also keep a 3-day feeder in the tank for the calcium, which he snacks on. And an algae wafer once in a while.

Yup, they eat green beans. Apple snails are detrius eaters, so they like soft squishy things. I nuke 'em until they sink to the bottom on their own. Mine often lets things marinate in the tank for a day, though sometimes not. Just rinse the green beans really well to get the salt off. I tend to just toss in whatever veggie we're having for dinner, as long as it's not covered in butter and salt. Or I freeze little bits of left over veggies so I can nuke 'em and toss 'em in. Reminds me...time to feed him again.
