I think you're lucky they haven't fought, yet. Are they in the same tank? What size?

Betas

They are in 2 gallon tank and I only put them together because they both are calm now. aka won't even hunt brine shrimps. and they do eat other food.

At at which point I'll go ahead and speculate that perhaps you need a bigger tank and a nice divider. Do they swim around and not attack each other or lay on the bottom? Please test your tank water (liquid test kit please) and post the results. Thanks!!!

Is the temp in your tank really low? I can't conceive of them being so peaceful without something being really wrong.

Well I do have dividers and those

I just put them together to test which one is ready for mating but they are peaceful. The temperature is between 78 and 82 F and water is 6.9 PH... Looks normal to me and they still haven't fought for 2 days. And they do fight when I put another crown male beta, they fight together :S

Wow. I'm shocked and amazed. Keep an eye on 'em.

Good luck!

You should never intentionally place two bettas in the same enclosure, by the way. This is cruel, knowing the way they behave.
