Tank decorated but Taz is still hiding

My new betta is still hiding and I put the plants back into the aquarium. How does it look? Should I get more decorations?

Cute! Where is he hiding? Some fish take a while to adjust. If he is staying away from the filter it may be too much current for him, raising the water level could help that.

It looks lovely. Some fish just like to hide, especially in things they're familiar with until they get used to their surroundings. Maybe your fish would enjoy a nice low soft flat plant to rest and hide in sometimes? I got some recently for my fish and he was afraid at first too but now he loves his new decorations

I would definitely get more stuff! The tank is beautiful, but very empty. Bettas thrive in densely packed environments. :)

I agree with bomba. A few more plants and/or hiding spots and your betta should start to feel more comfortable. Once he gains a sense of security, you should see him swimming about a little more freely.
