Snail safe Parasite treatments?

So I posted before about my sick tetras. There has been no change. No worse no better. They aren't rubbing on anything but I have noticed my Betta rubbing on things twice now. I am starting to think it may be a parasite. Everyone is still eating and I have seen no color loss. I am thinking it is in early stages. I dont have any back up tanks so I need a snail safe treatment.

What medicines are safe for both the snail and the betta?

What kind of snails? If you have an air pump, or can get a cheap starter pump with airline tubing and such... stick the snails in a bowl or bucket I've done that.

It sounds like ich... you have AQUARIUM salt on hand? And is your heater adjustable? Get ready to up the heat once you see those buggers, and add 1 teaspoon per gallon (or a tablespoon per 5 gallons) of DISSOLVED aquarium salt. Daily gravel siphoning helps gets rid of the parasites from the bottom. The heat (84-86) speeds up the ich life cycle, and the aquarium salt dehydrates them.

Salt really shouldn't be used with tetra. If you can pump up the temperature to 88F. I'd look for an ich cure.. As long as they don't contain copper, they should be fine.

They are no worse and no better. The only symptom of parasites that the Betta has is rubbing against things. The tetras dont really show any.

Someone else mentioned it could be a parasite in my other post and when the Betta started rubbing I thought it might be.

So I am looking for something that I can safely use to treat for parasites with my snail still in the tank. I bought one at Walmart without looking and it clearly says do not use in a tank with snails.

Also sorry the snail is a Nerite Zebra snail. My heater does not have a way to adjust it. It stays a constant 78 and that is it. I dont have a way of airating a bucket plus my snail tends to try to crawl out of the tank i would be concerned about him crawling out of the bucket and dieing.

The tank they are in is planted.

Best I can do. Need more research into medicating with inverts. Anything copper or potassium permaganate is a no go.
It looks serious. I'd just bucket the snail until treatment is over, honestly. It looks bad and there's no point wasting time with Mela/Pimafix.

ive used kordon ich attack with success. but at triple the dosage, dose every 6 hours. and 100% water change a day. in my other tank I did double dosage/day...25% WC every other day.
But why dont you take the betta out to quarantine or take out the snails and treat the tank with a normal med?

Proform-C is safe for snails, plants and biological filtration. Treats ick, velvet, costia and more. I prefer it over copper and others. Find it on web sites that sell to pond owners.
