My frog died about 3 weeks ago, my fish (Johannsan-Joe for short) was doing fine, the tank was being cleaned weekly, he was fed daily and was active and ate fine.
We have a half gallon fish bowl with a log, plant and rocks and the bottom.
In the past two weeks, the tanks gets dirty really fast, he sits at the top, and will not eat.
His fins have started turning clean and he started getting slimy white stringy things on them, this is just in the past few days.
The bowl started getting this weird slimy film at the top.
We have since cleaned the tank two-three times will a full water change.
Now he is sitting in a clean bowl of water, with nothing inside.
I am thinking the frog may have caused bacteria in the bowl, I think the frog died because it was old. We took great care of them both, then about a month ago I noticed the frog wasn't eating right and started laying at the bottom of the tank.
Any who...any ideas on Joe?
I'm pretty sure he has ich or fin rot?? Any suggestions? I don't wanna loose joe):
