Housing breeding stock

I am on the fence so help me out. On one hand, I like the idea of dividing a 20g tank into 4 enclosures so that I can have a cycled tank and not have the hassle of super frequent water changes. On the other hand, I'm worried about putting all my "eggs" in one basket-jeeze that would be over $300 if all four came down with something and died! I really don't want a ton of little tanks littering my house either. Individual 2g containers seems like a PITA. Tell me what you prefer and why. Thanks!

Well, unfortunately it's either one or the other, I guess it's a matter of which is less of a PITA or risk in your eyes. xD

When I move into my new place this fall, I'm going to dedicate a large room full of several betta drip systems. A simple tutorial on how to construct one is here- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxVy6kUM37I This method lets you house many of them on one large shelving unit, and they each have their own water supply so there is no risk of spreading diseases. (Unless of course, you don't wash your nets. ) The most expensive part of this setup is definitely the water pump that pushes the water from the sump to all of the barracks. Worth it to me, though, because they're easy to keep clean and sick fish are already quarantined.

Ok I just watched that whole thing, part 1 and 2, and do not understand how the water gets removed?!? I see how its added, but not removed :/
