Oohhhh yeah regular mollies are super mean... To ANY fish! Or so I found. I stuck with balloon mollies who usually chased each other, but wouldn't be able to harm other fish because of the way their mouths are I stopped owning them a while back I might get balloon mollies again :) maybe. just maybe.

I've had SOME bettas with platys and no problems... Except one grumpy betta who chewed the platys, and one wimpy betta who was chewed -.- Spartan had no problem living with young baby platys though!

Taz and Romeo are sweethearts. I put them both into the 29 together so I could get one out to put in the 2.5 gallon, Romeo swam up to Taz and swam away again like "What the heck was that"

The weird thing is that they are both boys. I took Romeo out for safety sake in case he got brave and try to pick a fight

I would never recommend having two males together.

However I think with your males, you could have them in a divided tank without too much of a problem. My Red and CT Ricky are fine with being divided, unlike Shadow, Dally, etc.
