Exclamation Really bad Fin Rot.

Housing
What size is your tank? 3.5 gal
What temperature is your tank? 78*
Does your tank have a filter? Yes
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? No
Is your tank heated?Yes
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? No

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? pellets
How often do you feed your betta fish? 2 in morning, 2 at night

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change? weekly
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? 100%
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? Ager, conditioner.

Water Parameters:
Have you tested your water? If so, what are the following parameters?
They are good. forgot what they were.

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? Half of fins have gone black
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? Yes, very slow and not very responsive.
When did you start noticing the symptoms? The bad fin rot started a day ago.
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? Yes. Put him in a smaller tank flaoting in the bigger one, putting fungus treatment in.
Does your fish have any history of being ill? yes, fin rot.
How old is your fish (approximately)? I bought him at the beginning of the year.

Fin rot, eats them away and only the edges are black and fall..

If they gone black and stayed there it might be the new mystery sickness..

Add a picture please so we can diagnose him :)

If its definitely fin Rot start a 10 day AQ salt treatment in a hospital tank, change water daily adding in one teaspoon of AQ salt per gallon making sure its dissolved before re-adding your boy, keep us updated on his progress and yes pics would be very helpful!!

I have been doing the AQ salt water treatment. all of the black parts have fallen off and he is not clamping up so much anymore. However whenever he sees movement he darts around.
