The first picture is about as good as it gets at the moment. Since he has a split dorsal, I don't want to stress him too much until he heals.

His fins are healing This morning he has new webbing where the split is.

It ended up being ich. He developed the telltale white spots. I took out all the substrate and ornaments in his tank and I've been treating him. He's doing better today. No darting and he made another bubble nest. I'm going to keep him on the AQ for a full seven days. I do not want this coming back again.

And just to be safe, I'm replacing all the substrate and silk plants.
