Exclamation Excessive biting of female's tail

So a friend and i are breeding two bettas we purchased and are worried about the female. There's alot of good hiding places for the female but her fins have been tattered alot. It's about 6 days into the process. The male also has a huge bubble nest built. Is this bullying normal?

Aggression is normal but too much aggression will kill your female. If she is motionless in a corner, take her out. .... if she isn't swimming normally take her out.

Next time keep the female in a jar/chimney for a few days before you release her. If she "ripens" in the jar, then she won't be too badly beaten.
