Fin rot?

Hello, everyone! I know I've been inactive lately...
So, I'm slightly concerned about Dante. The edges of all his fins have a light goldish color. Is this fin rot? By the way, he's a dragon, so he has spiky fins.
On his dorsal fin is a pale white part. Is this fin rot? He's had it ever since I've gotten him, and his fin hasn't gotten shorter or anything. :/

Housing
What size is your tank? 2.5 gallons
What temperature is your tank? Average is 76 - 80 degrees
Does your tank have a filter? Yes.
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? No.
Is your tank heated? No.
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? None.

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? Omega One Betta Buffet Flakes, and assorted pellets.
How often do you feed your betta fish? Twice a day. Flakes in the morning, pellets at night.

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change?: I do a 50% water change every week, and a 100% water change every month... although I'm not very consistent on the 50% changes.
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? Above.
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? I use stress coat.

Water Parameters:
Have you tested your water? No.
If so, what are the following parameters? N/a

Ammonia:
Nitrite:
Nitrate:
pH:
Hardness:
Alkalinity:

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? It hasn't... I got him like this.
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? Nope. He's still active.
When did you start noticing the symptoms? When I first got him.
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? No, because I don't know if it's fin rot.
Does your fish have any history of being ill? Not that I know of.
How old is your fish (approximately)? I think I've had him for about half a year or a year... I'm not sure, though.

just wondering... how do you maintain your water temp without a heater?
and i dont believe its fin rot... if it turns black and starts tearing or shredding then thats when i would be worried. right now i think you should do a 50% water change every other day for a bout a week to keep it clean so it can prevent/ possibly stop a bacterial infection such as fin rot

It's about 95 - 102 degrees every day here, so with air-conditioning his tank stays in the ideal degrees.
I was looking at other dragon plakats, and they have the white tip on their dorsal fin. I actually don't think the edge of the fins are fin rot... they haven't grown smaller and they aren't white... they look a little too straight, too. They are kind of a gold color... :/ I'll try to post a picture.
I can't do 50% water changes because I'm going on vacation today for five days.

Oops, I meant to say that the white is on one of his ventral fins. Wow, how could I get that wrong? His dorsal fin is fine. XD
