Dropsy

I posted this recently about Jekyll who has had issues off and on with constipation - http://www.bettafish.com/showthread.php?t=104157 We're now day nine with no poop and he's been in ES for four days. He's more bloated than he was and after looking carefully, I've noticed that some of his scales around the swollen area have started to lift, it's very slight, but they are definitely lifting. He's still swimming around, although a bit more slowly than normal. He'll flare when I put him next to Ghost and he's still eating. Is there anything I can do for him at this point? I don't want to lose him.

I have Maracyn and the LPS finally got the Daphnia in so I have that as well. Will any of that help?

i dont know if this would help if its dropsy, but give him a small piece of a pea. peas act as a laxative for bettas

sorry to hear it. I've been fighting the constipation problem with Baloo for a while now. He won't eat much at all, and he won't poop at all. Running out of options.
