Now he eats!!!!

After FOUR weeks our new betta Cutie is finally gobbling up flakes and bloodworms...seriously, we were preparing our daughter for the worst thinking he couldn't possibly survive, and now he comes swimming like crazy to the tank and eats everything in sight. He has tons of energy, and a funny personality, and we are so relieved to see him eating. So now that I actually have to feed this fish, how much of the flakes should I be giving him (he still does not like the pellets). The jar says to feed "as much as he'll eat in a couple minutes", but he seems ravenous. I don't want to overdo it. I've been giving him a small pinch twice a day...like really small, a few flakes. He seems to want more....
YAY CUTIE!!!

Bettas can live up to 21 days without food and are picky eaters, so not eating isn't unusual at all. Yes most people say feed "as much as he'll eat in a couple minutes". I would say try just enough to go on a tip of a teaspoon once a day. As long as he is eating better underfed then overfed. This will also insure his food is being properly digested.
