What to get?

Hello Betta people!! I have a wee bit of a problem. I have quite a bit of brown algae growing on the divider, substrate (gravel) and ornaments of my 26 gallon which is split to house 2 male bettas. I was wondering which tankmate would be a good choice for keep the algae at bay, at the same time would be easy to care for without eating the plants that will be in there. I appreciate the help!!
