Eveh, great news he's eating. If you can get some frozen bloodworms and sub those for one feeding a week, they are a good food source too. (I take the little cube out of the freezer, let it defrost enough to get two or three worms off it and re-freeze it.) Also try fasting your fish one day a week. :)

Hi its hot here too and getting hotter...I have a fan on the floor and have it pointed up and its keeping the air around his tank cooler. I know how you feel my daughter says I am obsessed with Perseus but in a sweet way...lol...And she is one who got him for me for Mothers Day. He is my first fish though and I have always wanted one, I adore this little guy he is so much fun watching which I do about all day...lol

As long as it doesn't go much higher then you'll be fine. I'd rather have my fish at 90F than 78F....
