Sick Betta, please help.

thanks, i got him on the epsom salt treatment and I bought EM Erythromycin and used that today. Lets hope he comes through :( .. Should I continue the AQ salt too? since I got him on the meds and epsom already? The dumb guy at Petsmart gave me an Air Stone to put in but I didn't realize I needed an airtube and airpump to connect it to! I thought somehow air got trapped in it and let air bubbles go through it somehow..

Nope just epsom, he doesn't look to well :(. Hope he makes it!! Good Luck and just keep doing what you are.

I just realized.. When I treat with Epsom salt do I keep him in it for good or just a temporary bath and then switch him back to nonsalted water?

He's not looking to good :( don't think he's gonna pull though but tryin to do what I can

Keep in epsom salt for 14 days, then go back to normal, if it seems bad make sure you're using 3 tsp/gal epsom salts. You're trying hard and I guarentee your betta is in better shape then when you bought him. If it happens he doesn't pull through, you can know you gave him a good home and a peaceful passing. But I sure hope he makes it! Good Luck and keep us updated if anything changes and we'll pitch in our opinions ASAP!!!

He passed away last night.

Im so upset. I was up to the 3 tsp/gal of es.. and on meds.

He was just in really bad shape. this sucks

Aww :'(....so sorry. You tried so hard too! Don't feel bad, you did all you could and I'm sure he passed on peacefully and happy :) You did what any good betta parent would do.
