Betta on Road

I am embarking on a 3 day trip from AZ to NE. My betta is traveling with me and I am nervous about how he is going to take it. Right now he has fasted for 30 hours and tomorrow morning he is going to be on road. I will house him in a 500 mL Tupperware, with perforated cap, which will be placed in a styrofoam box.

I am carrying one gallon of treated water with me and will be changing the water every day to ensure there isn't build up of ammonia.

I will try to read updates on this post w/e I find a chance to connect to the interwebz.

any more suggestions you people can provide me?

I am planning to update the followers of this thread over the trip and will greatly appreciate any timely help provided.

As you probably already know... bettas can go a few days without eating but i advise you to bring food with you and also you need another container to put the betta in when you are cleaning the tank. Everything else sounds good. Have fun!!!!
