What to do with a 3 gallon?

I recently got myself a divided 3 gallon with two dividers. Should I get three fish to each have one gallon, or let one have it all to himself?

3 galons is not big after you put all the decorations.
I would just put one fish in there.

I totally agree with vilmarisv. A three gallon tank is not suitable for 3 betta's. Let him have the tank all to himself. If you add decorations to each part you will have less that a gallon of space for each betta.

Thanks you so much! I know it should be a no brainer, but I get indecisive sometimes. I am just getting my betta bug back. Figures I ask the experts before I go and make a decision.
