dead fish water?

i know ive seen a thread on this before, but i cant seem to find it now. ive had a couple of fish die this week in my 10 gal (1 betta due to sorority injury, 1 molly due to stress-im assuming-, and another molly dying mysteriously, but it may be because im using freshwater and i know mollies do better in brackish water) and im wondering if i should just clean the tank out as a whole. i did a 25% water change yesterday, but i was worried that maybe dead fish secrete any kind of toxins or anything.

I'd think they secrete ammonia as they decompose, but I'm not sure of what else might be released. Were you able to get them out quickly after they died, or were they in there for a bit? (overnight or all day, etc.)
