unusual sorority?

everyone always says that bettas in a sorority will stake their own territory in the tank and usually keep their distance from the other bettas, but mine is the other way around. my bettas travel together throughout the tank without any problems (other than the occasional spat), so has this unusual behavior happened to anyone else or should i be worried?

Actually, my Marge and Tina were sisters, the first two I got. I got their other siblings, Zebra and Rose... They sat on each other, bugged each other, defended each other, etc. They were together all the time.

Now my new sorority (demolished) they murdered everything on sight, and bullied each other, and stayed in their own domains. The lowest of the group was banished to the bottom of the tank :/

yeah, ive had a couple that were sent to the bottom (they are no longer living for various reasons) but its so funny, i got a teeney tiny little sickly looking girl from petsmart and then a big healthy betta from my LPS and they are the best of friends! they stay together almost all of the time!

I've had mine sorority up and running for a month now and they all seem to stick together... but they also still fight. They are normally calm but when it's feeding time they go crazy.

In my current set up, the girls swarm madly together. At least that's how I always see them. Me = food. YAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!

When I do catch them in a quiet moment they each swim up from a different part of the tank. There are enough plants they can each hide easily.
