I've never had one. I've had a couple that were white when I got them but they changed colors on me.

Thank you for "saying" it right. It's annoying when people call them bait-uhs. Like WTH it's a bet-tah according to the dictionary xD

I say bet-ah, but only because I have never heard one person say it right, and arguing is pointless with these people. lol. Even the people at the pet stores say it..

It is pronounced bet-tah :) I'm not sure how anyone would get bait-uh out of the word betta. Like when you say "I bet.." you don't pronounce it "I bait.." xD

I say it right in my head, but speak it wrong, since everyone else in Tennessee says bait-uh.

In England, most people call bettas Siamese fighting fish but I don't coz' it's a mouthful.
