Moving Sorority into bigger tank questions

I have a ten gallon sorority and just went and bought a 29 gallon that I want to move them in.. how exactly should I go about doing this. The tank they are in now is cycled and I didn't know if I should fill the 29g up with their old water to help cycle the New filter or what? Any advice would be helpful.

I'm no expert but I imagine if you put all their current water in + new water, put the same filter cartridge & gravel in it should help, you might go through a mini cycle I'm pretty sure though.

So I should use the old filter and hang the new one so that it too can get the good bacteria in it right ?

Yupp, old cartridge in new filter, if the cartridge fits. If not some people put pieces of the old cartridge one on the new one.
