@Gienah~I have 2 now..didnt take long. My first one in Avi..is my daughters fishy..but I have claimed him as my own..i fell in love with him..and he is a HM male..about 6mos old..growin fast..now we have a blue male VT..who is a rescue fishy..and has done a complete turnaround..he was on the brink..and now he is thriving in his new home..feisty and curhrious about everything..love this.lil guy..my plan for next mon is to get a 10 gal split with the 2 I have and free up both tanks for new fishys..planning on gettin one from AB..hopelessly obsessed..lol..+)and Love it!!

Welcome to MA. Im not a huge Betta fan but I have a few. Im in Hudson, right down the road from you.

You've got to check out a LFS...All New Tropical World in Worcester. Its a small place and the owner is such a nice guy. Every time I go in there, he always throws in a few extras, "its on the house"lol. The prices are the cheapest around, half of what Tropical Isle sells stock. The store isnt big but he tries to stock unique fish. Its hit or miss. This w/e he was almost sold out but is getting a large shipment this week.
Its also cash only. Check it out.

Another good place is Uncle Neds in Millis. A bit of a haul for you but worth the trip.
