Back from Disney, all mostly well!

After seeing some of the horrible conditions in the aftermaths of some other member's vacations, I was fretting a bit about the aquacritters while we were on vacation at Disneyworld. But I knew our friend who was taking care of them and the cats was vary conscientious.

Everyone lived*! Moreover, while I don't think he changed any water, the tanks looked pretty good. The two in critter keepers looked like about half their water had evaporated (more open tops) and that was the worst of it. Even the frog was ok. We celebrated with fresh water all around.

*The only casualty was Ghost's snail friend, who I thought had been looking poorly before we left, so that was a bit of a mess but not unexpected Luckily(?) I discovered that I have a handful of tiny snails of unknown origin in the salad bowl. Obviously sneaking in on one of the recent plant aquisitions. I might give him one of those babies. They are tiny.

Oh, and Chicory decided to bite off the top 1/3 of his tail. Grrr.

I guess that's about as good as it gets for an 8 day trip and a novice fishkeeper friend tho!
