It takes all types?

It's not just a dead betta - wet specimen means it has been preserved in alcohol or formaldehyde, rather than mounted and stuffed like a moose head.

Some folks like to collect pickled things. I know a guy with a creepy jar collection..

DOA guaranteed! XD

I think it would be really cool, actually. But I'm the one who wants to dissect dead people for a living, soooo... Yeah. (BTW I'm not crazy! I want to be a pathologist and HELP people. :P)

Wow.. I've heard of this before but people usually do it to discus or rare catfish. Kinda funny on a betta.

I guess someone would buy this if they wanted a fish, but couldn't afford a heater, food, a decent sized tank, plants, etc.... Pretty good idea in that case!

@-@ wat....

I don't think I could get down with that sort of thing. Let the poor thing rest! lol The science building at my uni has preserved things on display in the halls. Blecky. Not cool. Just not for me.

I think if you put them in a bunch of old looking jars with scientific labels it'd look pretty sick.
