hello all, i am currently geting back in to fish keeping, and i have recently set up some tanks . i have also saved, what was a double moon tail blue/purple male betta named Bubbles, i have been lurking around here for a while. trying to figure out what happened to his tail. i treated him with aq salt for possible fin rot, and a new tank and fresh clean warm water and nice yummy food, and his ail is slowly growing back.
he may have been a tail biter, or just kept with decor that tore his fins.

I know he is about a year or two old, and i am enjoying him tons.

i have always kept at least one betta even during my long fish keeping break, which i am coming back from. I currently have a 10 gal and two 2.5 gal set up, and I am about to set up a 20 long.

I am also dreaming of a fish room all over again.

hi, i am also new here. could he have been in too much ammonia and have damage from that? i hope he grows it back. I have a half moon double tail and i love him. Mine's name is Frank.
