Do your bettas have personalities?

All the bettas I've owned have had entirely different personalities! My first betta, Mr. Betta, was very easygoing, as he was not phased by anything. He was not very aggressive, but he would always start doing his wiggle dance as soon as he saw me walk through the door after I got back from class. He was very resilient, too! I had him for about 3 years, and the only reason he died is because I made a mistake during a routine water change (I felt so terrible... :(). My 2nd betta, Iggy, was all over the place. He was SO enthusiastic about everything, and he was SUCH a high jumper! My current betta, Tommy, is such a sweetheart. He is very fun-loving yet also very territorial. He gazes at me longingly (refer to my avatar picture for an example of this :D) and he always does this very intense wiggle dance when he sees me even from a distance of about 7 feet! He is a very quick learner too, as I am teaching him tricks now. He loves playing games with me, and he gets bored easily!

So far Piccolo is my only betta, but I hope to have more. :)
She's always swimming. Always. Sometimes she reminds me of Dory from Finding Nemo... "Keep on swimming... keep on swimming.." LOL which makes it SUPER hard to take photos. Plus I can never get her true teal color in the pics.... She loves her tank, every day she explores it like it's a new one.

Well, I don't really remember my first couple of bettas because its been a while, but I do remember Gabe. He was the little gentlemen of all my fish. Such a sweet heart. I put in 5 female guppies and he never fought with any of them.

Squishy, the baby betta I have now, has quite the little attitude. I can tell, he'll be a feisty one when he grows up.
