Water Conditioner

So I just bought this water conditioner the other day from Pet Supply:

Yesterday I used it to condition a gallon of tap water and I want to use it when I do a small water change in my tanks in a few days. But I'm kind of paranoid to use it because my fish are so so important to me. I used ten drops per gallon of water. Is that be enough? or too much?

You should follow the directions on the back of the conditioner bottle. I have a conditioner that you only need 2 drops per gallon. When it doubt, use more. Overdosing conditioner isn't a bad thing and isn't harmful to your fish, it is only there to remove the chlorine and chloramine (makes water safe for human consumption) from tap water. Some other conditioners also remove hard metals from the water but you don't need that it's just an added plus.

Assuming you plan on doing 50% water change use half of the amount you used to treat 1 gallon.

I also use 10 drops/gal. Like Zergy little over is ok so sometime I add 15 drops/gal.

My thing is how long are you supposed to wait after adding the WC before you can put it in the tank?

The conditoner works instantly you just need to stir your water so it can be evenly distributed.
