It would be best....never base your stocking on what you see at the LFS, they do not house them long term. Too bad they would have to go back there though...any other place you could take them that wouldn't just cram them into a tank?

well u can just hope those danios will get out of the lfs tank fast and then you can get diff tank mates and try again like the african dwarf frogs
