Aquatic plant over winter (Seattle area)

I know it is just only July 17. But I have a feeling that fall/winter cold is about to hit us very soon.

I am in Seattle. I have an idea. Why don't we form an coop aquatic plant keeper. I actually have not clue what I am talking about.

But my idea works something like this...

I have at least 3 kind of plant: water lettuce, frogbit, water hyacinth, and 3 others. If you have place to keep them over the winter, you can keep my water plants over winter and next spring you gave me back 1/2 and keep 1/2 for yourself. We need service like this. What do you think?

That makes complete sense. I think you would have to find somebody local(Seattle) because the shipping costs there and back can get expensive.
If it is local it would work very well.
