Oh my goodness. They're selling killifish eggs as "instant" fish! And when I tried to leave the page a message came up "Wait, a live agent wants to talk to you about last minute savings!"

Yea, those don't go over too well. It's a sensitive fish.
Saw them a while ago. Children just kill them and parents get angry.

Annual killies are sooo sensitive. They need like absolutely perfect water parameters.

That is 10 times worse than the Teddy Tank.

"Upgrade to the Deluxe Kit with fish bowl"

I don't call anything near a fish bowl "deluxe".

With fish bowl? What does the standard kit come with then, a paper cup?

EDIT: ROCKY! *hugs* I'm so sorry I can't make it to the next RHPS! My darn brother is in town from NYC and I *have* to spend time with him.

EDIT II: Says they are nothobranchius korthausae. Google 'em, they're absolutely gorgeous!

Sadly, I think they don't come with anything. Bowls sold separately. Just another way to get more money out of you.

I searched a little around the site and they give you brine shrimp eggs to raise for food.

Aahnay, can you imagine what life was like before the microwave? I'd starve, it's the only way I know how to cook. o.O

Crabby, what they don't tell you is that the newborn babies are probably too small even for newly hatched BBS. I wonder how many of the poor things starve to death in the first day. And they said if you don't have access to bottled water to use tap water but to set it out for 24 hours to make sure it has no chlorine. Would it kill them to recommend using a dechlorinator?
