I believe I have a betta thats not on the list of tail types. I found this little guy at Petco last night and just had to take him home. I believe he's a Doubletail Crowntail. His color looks to be Peach or Coral. He's a cutie! I've had older/bigger bettas for quite a while. He's so tiny. His first home is a 3 gallon kritter keeper. No name yet.

OMG, mjoy!!! Where did you get that male. I live in Texas too, and I was at Petco a week ago and saw an orange doubletail CT male with that same dip in his head. Which Petco exactly did you find him at?

Talking My new friend!

Not sure what kind of baby I have here, I bought him/her at Petco. I couldn't resist that adorable face. I've had it for 3 days now and it seems pretty comfortable and VERY smart. If anyone has any idea what this baby is, please let me know! Thanks!

See I think I have a rose tail, his tail fans out with ripples, not tares and a solid black goes around the fin. he doesn't have petals like most super tail rose tails. anyway its been a big question since ive had him.

Hello, sorry to bother, but do different tail types have different personalities? which would you recommend for a new owner? HM or VT, or any other variety. Colors would be nice based on experience as well :)
