Yeah, snails don't appear to be fussy eaters.

I have those Hikari Bio Gold pellets. Might as well use 'em seeing as I have a whole package and a half of them (was stalking up I guess).

I have some old mushy cucumber in the fridge, (need to clean the darn thing out every once and a while ) but I think that even the snails wouldn't touch that. Hmmmm, maybe some bell pepper? Its almost fresh, though it needs to be thawed out (put that in the freezer so it wouldn't go the way of the cucumbers). Wait, can snails eat bell pepper?

Bah. They'll have some red lettuce and like it.

my snails lurv cucumber. and Darroh really got into the lettuce when i put it in there, but all i've got is cucumber. speaking of which i should put some of that in tomorrow...

My mystery snail ate a whole slice by himself in a day and a half. I'm surprised he didn't bust his shell at the seams, the glutton. It takes my 3 otos twice as long to eat one slice.

If my cucumber wasn't turning into green mush and growing a layer of white fuzzies on it, I would use it. I guess maybe next time I'll think twice before saying yes to a grocery bag full of them.

But they were free!! I couldn't pass them up!! Honest. I even ate one!

EDIT: On a completely unrelated note, I am still at a loss as to what to name them. I am thinking vacuum brand names.

Hoover, Oreck, Dyson, and Bissell. Then I can them the Vacuum Brigade. Yeah. I like it!

i put a pretty big piece in there, they never finish it by the time i feel like i need to get it out. Hoover loves cucumber too though. He gets sort of possessive xD

I leave it in until there's nothing left but the skin. Probably not the best thing to do buuuut, enh.

Darroh already gorges herself on the cucumber. And one of her babies was on there the other day too.

OH i found a picture of a rabbit snail giving birth Sakura! And i definitely saw the residue/matter stuck on that rabbit snail stuck to Darroh more than once. and Bea, when she had her one baby before she died.
