They get to use their retirement money, anyway they choose! Sometimes, it makes people happier to help out friends and family, rather than go on a long planned vacation, or buy a new car, or.. you know. =)

I remember when floppy disks, those big 5 inch things, were the way to back thing up.

A film canister? o.O Wow.

My parents got a new microwave recently. I hate it. It's smaller than the old one and it doesn't have the cool quick cook function where all you do is press a digit (like 1 for 1 minute etc) and it turns on immediately.

EDIT: Floppy drives? Is it bad that I still remember when computers were DOS and not Windows?

I meant to say 5.25 inch disks. I also remember the DOS days. Back when you had to type in commands to open files instead of all this fancy clicking and pointing. Sheesh. Kids now-a-days don't know how easy they have it.

I could never remember the commands and I got the forward and backward slashes all mixed up. It's a wonder the computer ever worked for me back then.

I just remember typing in something like doom.exe to play Doom.

Bekah, what "baby" are you referring too?

Wolfenstein3d.exe for me. Took me four months to win, I think. Took my brother one week.
