Its already cycled but the filter seems pretty powerful and I think it will be too strong for my boy. I have turned the jet towards the back of the tank but I think it still may be a bit to strong.
Any ideas how to slow the flow without affecting the filter?
That's a very nice tank! Perhaps to slow down the filter, you could put a sponge bad in front of it? It might slow it down some. Also, if that doesn't work, maybe just see if he likes the filter? Many bettas love to play in a filter. Good luck! :)
Search here for baffles for filters. Its a very nice tank and best wishes for you and your new Betta ! Mine it kinda strong too but Perseus doesnt mind at all. I put my floating betta log in under mine and that helps and also now I have some live plants floating at the top of the water and those also are helping and he is loving the new plants now but at first he was attacking them..lol
