I have never personally used the decap brine shrimp you can hatch, however, I wouldn't think it would be any different than using the regular brine shrimp eggs you hatch-other than they should hatch faster and have less shells to worry about until the second molt....

How much do they cost....I have never found decap brine shrimp you can hatch....but personally if it didn't cost much more than the regular eggs...I would use them myself...got a link....

I start feeding newly hatched BBS with their yolk sac intact for best nutrition within the first week more or less....Since I use a more natural method to spawn-my systems are loaded with microorganisms for the fry to free range feed on for the first few days to week once free swimming-depending on the number of fry.
NHBBS is the food I start my Betta fry on and have not found the newly hatched to be too big for them to eat-but once the BBS use their yolk sac and molt they can be too big for some fry-plus not much nutrition and limited on HUFA and if BBS is the only food source you feed you can have mass die off, sudden death, disease, parasites due to nutritional deficit and compromised/immature immune response. But if you feed other foods along with BBS or use an HUFA supplement on the BBS you usually won't have problems. That first month is critical.....

I think they look good and I am going to research a little more to see if I can find a better deal and order some myself to try this fall-its too hot right now and they might not do well in shipping without it costing an arm and leg to get them...lol......Did you happen to see what the S/H would be...I didn't check that part but I am sure it would need to be over night and cool pack added since it needs to be kept cold to be viable....I won't even order regular brine shrimp cyst/eggs in the hot months....lol....

Cool

Sounds like I would be "experimenting" with my fry if I use those... I would prefer to use "tried and true" methods. Really BBS are NOT difficult to hatch!!
