@rainbow- I hear where you're coming from. For me, any meat I want I can substitute with soy based "meats" (was never really into pot roasts or steak anyway)
But I can get veggie chicken breasts, ground beef, hot dogs, turkey slices and roast.. etc... I never feel left out!
If you need to keep eating certain meats, go to a local butcher or local farmer. These are smaller operations where the animals live natural healthy lives without hormones and other poisons in their food. They get to see the sun and partake in natural living lives until they are slaughtered by hand.
I think your problem is from factory farms. Overpopulated warehouses where the animals never see the sun or feel dirt under their feet or get to nibble on natural grass. They are hooked up to machines that do the killing. That's factory farming and it's necessary in the type of society we live in. If you really want to make a change in your own life, refuse to purchase that crap. Only buy your meat from local farm markets and butchers. :)
