yea mine did it in his unfiltered tank too.... just does it way more in the filtered tank lol

My halfmoon does that too, it's funny to watch. I do think it's cause he has SO much finnage, it's easier to wiggle like that instead of try to swim like a normal fish!

Buddha is gorgeous!! Kudo swims like that sometimes when he gets really hyper, he'll go all over his 10 gallon just bouncing around lol.

Yeah, the only one of my guys who does that is Wystan. Probably cause he's got the longest and fullest tail and it's an easier way to get around. Mags has a little plakat tail and Padan is a crowntail with a less full tail.

That's cute! My crowntail has always swam like that, clamping his fins down and zooming around. I kind of laugh to think bettas are supposed to be "slow" swimmers. Iv actually has some drag tears where his fins connect to his body, so I'm keeping an eye on those in case they get any larger.

My newest betta does that! He seemed kind of agitated compared to my others, so it was hard to tell! He is doing well though, starting to eat etc., so I guess he is just spirited!
