You have a pretty Betta and just think how prettier he would be in something bigger to swim in, he would love it and you would love watching him swimming and playing and having so much fun with more room ! I hope you can come up with the funds soon but till then he need clean warm water at least 78 degrees so also check into getting a heater for him and something to check the temp of his water with. What is the temp in your house ? If its not to cold from the AC you could fill up a gallon jug with his water and conditioner and let it set out till it becomes room temp. or set it outside for awhile. Also with a gallon jug you can work with getting the temp right by using some hot water and then cold water until you get the temp right, that is what I do but always double check to be sure you have the right temp. I live in an apartment and I realllly make sure that the apartment is not too cold or hot. I live in Ohio so maybe that can give you an idea where I'm from and this summer it has been hot so I keep my apartment cool but not cold!! I have heard that's it's important to keep the Betta not too cold or too warm,and thanks to everyone for thier suggestions on my Betta's digs!! Looking into a tank next!
