Newfish is pleased with himself

And apparently likes his temporary "tank" (medium kritter keeper) just fine, cause he either made his very first bubble nest, or there was a larger than average random accumulation of bubbles in his vicinity. You be the judge!

As far as offically naming him, I think hubby is just sticking with "Little Red Fish." I've been callhim him Redfish myself. I know, such astounding originality. I think his official name that he'll never be referred to by other than in official venues is "Garnet."

They way the bubbles are sticking together looks like a bubble nest. Have you seen him working on it any today ? Perseus made one a couple of weeks ago and I sit here all day watching him blow bubbles to add to his nest it was so much fun !!! He sure is a cutie and cute name too I like Redfish or Little Redfish, adorable !

Given that he's just about half the size and a quarter the weight of my big crowntail boys, the nest is just perfectly proportioned! I'll have to see if he's made any improvements or enlargements on it when I get home this evening.

My anubias should be done with Quarantining tonight (nothing extra has joined the baby snails in the salad bowl) so I can put it into the big tank, and then add LRF to his side of the divided tank. Ghost didn't seem to care at all one way or the other when I had him in a divided tank after I first brought him home, so hopefully his attitude will remain laid back about it.
