I was going to go all out on this. Like, build a 75 gallon tank out of plywood. I figure that, even though no, I've never *built* anything in my life, I'm great with instructions.
But now I'm just thinking: if I get maybe an attractive looking (kiddie pool?) or even anything else, everybody else but the plecco will be of a reasonable size? Heck, I feel like I could get even more creative than that.
Here's the thing: my betta fish are already 1 1/2 years old. As they usually live 3 max, and everybody else in my tank lives to be about 7-12 years, I figure they can inherit the tank.
