Talking new betta i.d help

Hi everyone.

I have picked up Ken from a local aquarium.
Just want to know what type this would be classified.
I think it could be dragon half moon ?
His a very active betta :D

He's certainly a dragon. ^^ When he flares, does his tail make a 180* angle? If it does, he's a HM! Yay! If not, a DeT. (Delta) Very beautiful either way! ;)

Woo I was hoping it was a dragon.
For some reason when I place a mirror in front he doesn't flare.
Maybe he's still getting use to his new home.

It must be either from the move or he's pretty mellow and docile. :) Either way, he's really beautiful.

mine usually take a couple of days before they are energetic enough to flare. I imagine being cramped and such in a cup could do that. No worries though its normal. hes gorgeous.

I'm pretty sure your boy is a halfmoon. His caudal edges are not round... which is good.
He was proabably exposed to other males at the petshop so he will take a couple to days of isolation to start flaring.

I have a HMPK that flares at soda cans. Maybe you can try that?
