I don't do it anymore because everytime I do, the snails get it on and I find ten egg clutches later.

Sometimes you have to see it for yourself to believe it. haha....

These were the smaller tanks 2.5 gallon tanks anyway. I bought all the tanks outside before I went on a little road trip around the city.


The girls are in the larger tank now.


The tanks are going to get hosed out after I catch a 1000 more mosquitos.

So bettas do eat insects? I have to see that for ages, my archer fish used to sprout water at them and eat them.

Most if not all fish eat insects in the wild when they're available. Otherwise they usually rummage for other sorts of food.

The girls I chose are the active curious ones. They're constantly twisting their heads/eyes all over the place looking for something to do or something to eat.

Even in the cup, you can tell which ones will make good hunters by watching them for a couple minutes.
