Sudden death!!!!

So I had a platinum white dragon scale crown tail male. He was my most active fish always on the go. Last night when I got home late I noticed he was staying at the top of the tank. He would still swim but would rest at the top.

When I just got home I found him at the bottom of the tank and he was a tinted color pink, and the ends of his tail were a bit grey. It wasn't ammonia I cycle his tank and do a 50% water change every Sunday. I keep it very clean. Nothing has changed, food and water changes all still the same.

Would anybody have any clue how he might of died so sudden?
