Well, I did a water change on Omega today, salted him, got his water pristeine clear. Took out Delta's heater and put it in the hospital tank. He just doesn't seem to be doing much right now. I'm sorta worried.

He will take a quick bite at a flake (all he will eat) then just float at the top of his tank. He does have tail rot. Just kind of woundering if he may have SBD as well. he doesn't go to the bottom of the tank much. Just floats at the top.

Did you drop salt directly on top of Omega Betta?

Or did you dissolve the salt in the water before adding Omega?

Which part of the US are you located in?

I haven't used a heater in well over a month for ANY of my tanks.

Are you treating for the fin rot with the salt, and did you add the water conditioner, as well, you need to do that, not only the salt, and how much salt?? what size is the Hospital tank??
