Love spade tails! So unique looking. I dont like CT very much, they look like they have fin rot IMO. I also love red ones with a bit of black bordering there fins and scales. So gorgeous!! :) Red also seem to be pretty aggressive. Veil also seem pretty graceful, with the long tail.

I always think CTs look like they have fin rot, too, Pearl lol I have a red/orange CT that doesn't have very pronounced "spikes"...he just looks like a VT with fin damage. Especially since his spikes aren't evenly spaced or even the same length :/

I would only get one if it was a very good show fish that had perfect spikes. Otherwise I love female betas!

I love my blue crowntail my daughter got for me..he is so active and always playing in his 5 gallon home. He likes to poke things with his nose, he keeps me laughing all the time. His fins look perfect to me so nicely shaped and the spikes are evenly spaced.
I think the dumbo ears are awesome and would love to have one if I ever get another Betta, maybe next Spring. Perseus never stops only after lights out and he sleeps in his floating Hornwort, he loves that plant !

HM's are my favorite tail type, I used to keep CT's several years ago, but got away from them and fell in love with HM's, currently have some imported in and hopefully some coming from Karen, but overall my favorite personalities is a female sorority, they are very active and everyone swimming back and forth and at feeding time its like they show off to get your attention lol

I love PKHMs especially when they're a deep blue body with bright orange fins! It makes me drool thinking about them...

But I absolutely love my VT Fitzwilliam who is blue. He thinks that he rules the tank, all 8 gallons of it, which he does. I love his little curious looks

I also love the copper and black mixes, those are GORGEOUS!

I've always been a fan of halfmoons! Though the HMPKs are growing on me the more I look at them. I could also see where a PKs might be more active fish because they have less finnage to tow around.
