My friend got a betta fish at a local pet store. She told me that when she got home she filled up the new tank and let it get to room temperature and used the correct amount of water conditioner. She gently poured him in along with a little of his water that he was already in. He spent a lot of time at the bottom and wouldn't eat - which is usually normal when they get home and in a new tank. A few hours later she saw him throw up pink mush. She said his food isn't pink it is just dark brown. That next morning he was dead. I told her he was probably already sick and she did everything right.
I was just wondering what it means for a betta fish to throw up pink mush? i never heard of that before..
thanks!
