RIP Steven :((

HI there... I suppose this is bitter sweet, my very first Betta, Steven, only lasted 3 days :( I found him belly up at the bottom of my sad excuse of a tank... I was devastated... so I immediately GOOGLED Betta care... found loads of interesting facts, one week later, I went out, bought a 2 gallon tank, accessories, and started the process of getting everything ready for my new Betta... I was determined to try again, in Steven's honor... so, here I am, had Larry for 3 days... and he is still going strong... VERY happy it seems in his environment, and thanks to this forum, I can very quickly understand things if I need to!

RIP Steven...

What a cutie, glad you did some research. Care may be simple for these guys but knowing the basics and why you do things certain ways will help keep them healthy and happy. These guys deserve the best.

Aww I'm so sorry for your loss.
You may want to also post this in the "betta memorials" section.

I recently lost one of my bettas as well so I know what you're feeling. It's just something sad that you have to go through at some point. But on the brighter side, your new betta is beautiful!
